After experimenting with different newsletter options on downthetubes, the British comics news site (and more), recently, we’re now aiming to publish a weekly round up of recent news items here on our Crucible Comic Press Substack.
We didn’t export any addresses from our previous newsletter lists to Substack, so please subscribe here for these updates. You can also subscribe to our newsfeed on follow.it, which enables you to get news catch ups automatically.

THIS WEEK’S MOST POPULAR POST…
• Aardman and pop culture retailer Forbidden Planet launch a major Wallace & Gromit collaboration
We’ve been a bit taken aback by the interest in this one, despite being Aardman fans ourselves! A wide range of licensed apparel, giftware and homewares based on the world of Wallace & Gromit has arrived on the high street, via pop culture retailer Forbidden Planet, in partnership with Aardman.
Launched in the wake of the debut of Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl on BBC One in the UK, and Netflix globally, this is Forbidden Planet’s biggest product launch ever, and features multiple t-shirts, hoodies, and accessories – including sew-on patches, enamel keyrings and pin badges – plus a line of giftware, including art prints, postcard packs, mugs, tea towels, magnets and travel pass holders.
Have a great weekend, everyone, and thank you for reading…
